Rome Logistics Living Lab featured in the EIT Urban Mobility Report

TRElab Logistics LivingLab is featured in the UrbanMobility Living Labs Report

“It is important to stress that everything we do is related to the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of Rome…We have a good background story – staring from a European project (CITYLAB) that was linked to the local ambitions to have participatory planning in place… I think that our strength now is based on the experience we gained back then”.

This is an excerpt from the interview that TRElab gave to the authors of the EIT Urban Mobility Report on the European Logistics and Mobility Living Labs.

The report is the main output of the inventory of urban mobility living labs in the Pan-European region conducted by LuxMobility and Breda University of Applied Sciences and funded by the EIT Urban Mobility

The aim of this public report is to provide the wider transport community with an understanding of the potential of successfully ran living labs and their essential contribution to the transformation of the current urban mobility system.

The present report illustrates that operational set up, local urban mobility strategies, as well as the goals of the main key stakeholders have led in practice to a large variety of urban mobility living labs in Europe.

The Logistics Living Lab of Rome is active and its activities are reported here: http://www.trelab.it/living-lab/
